Figure’s new humanoid robots are taking their first steps outside the US factory

US robotics company Figure has shared a video showing newly manufactured Figure 03 humanoid robots leaving the company’s BotQ factory. The short clip shows several robots moving around the company premises and offers a glimpse into the expanding production operations.

The humanoids are seen leaving the building and walking toward a pedestrian crossing near a parking lot. Figure founder Brett Adcock described the machines as newly manufactured Figure 03 units, but did not disclose how many robots were produced nor did he provide updated figures on production capacity and customer deliveries.

Recently, footage showed a Figure 03 humanoid completing a nine-day treadmill endurance test, covering 348 miles (560 kilometers) and logging 1.2 million steps.

Humanoids leave BotQ

A new video posted by Adcock on X shows newly manufactured Figure 03 humanoid robots leaving the company’s BotQ production facility.

The approximately 19-second clip shows several white and black robots moving around the company’s premises, with one crossing a painted pedestrian walkway while others follow. The footage offers a glimpse into Figure’s growing humanoid fleet as the company continues to ramp up production of its third-generation robot. However, Adcock did not disclose how many units were shown, nor did he provide updated production and customer delivery figures.

The video shows the humanoids walking along the entrance to a figure building while people stand and move nearby. A robot crosses a marked pedestrian crossing while several others follow the same route.

Adcock did not explain whether the robots were autonomous or under remote monitoring. He also did not provide any information about their destination or whether they were being transported for testing, operational or other purposes.

The latest footage follows several manufacturing updates from the California-based robotics company. In April, Adcock said BotQ had made more robots in March than Figure had in its entire history up to that point.

Figure subsequently revealed that BotQ had produced more than 350 Figure 03 humanoids, showing a production cycle of one robot per hour. The company said it increased its manufacturing rate from one robot per day to one per hour, a 24-fold improvement in less than 120 days.

Scales robotic manufacturing

In July, Figure announced another milestone, confirming that BotQ had made its 1,000th humanoid robot. Adcock marked the occasion with a gold-colored Figure 03 unit alongside the facility’s staff.

These numbers represent cumulative production output, not the number of robots shipped to customers. Figure said its growing fleet supports internal research, AI training, home task development and commercial applications.

The company also uses its growing fleet to collect operational data and identify hardware and software issues that arise during prolonged use. This information helps improve the Helix humanoid AI system and the reliability of robots working in real-world environments.

Launched in October 2025, Figure 03 features a redesigned hardware and sensor architecture built around the company’s vision-voice-action AI system Helix.

Its image processing system uses improved cameras that deliver twice the frame rate, a quarter of the latency and a 60 percent larger field of view per camera compared to the previous generation. The hands also have embedded palm cameras, allowing the robot to provide visual feedback when objects are obscured by its main cameras during manipulation.

Figure has developed its own tactile sensors for the robot’s fingertips. These can detect forces as small as three grams, helping the humanoid adjust its grip and handle delicate or irregular objects more precisely.

The robot also features softer, replaceable and washable outer covers, an improved audio system for voice interactions and battery safety improvements. Its feet are equipped with inductive charging coils and allow wireless charging with an output of up to 2 kilowatts when positioned on a compatible charging station.

Figure designed the third-generation humanoid with mass production in mind, establishing BotQ with dedicated production lines and a new supply chain. The latest video offers another look at newly completed units leaving the facility, but does not establish the current production rate or the number of robots operating outside of Figure’s own research and development programs. The company is also developing its next-generation Figure 04 humanoid and continuing to expand its robotics platform.
