OpenAI Group PBC has reportedly raised $11 billion in a funding round that could nearly double in size in the coming weeks, according to reportsSources told Bloomberg said investors transferred the funds to the company today.
The tipsters did not reveal the names of the supporters. Potential participants include Microsoft Corp., which has contributed to at least four of OpenAI’s previous rounds. Last month, the Financial Times reported that OpenAI closed The quarter achieved annual net sales of $50 billion, up 77% year-over-year.
